About Me

I’ve been drawn to people-oriented and service-providing positions for most of my life. Throughout my schooling and in my personal life, I've consistently found myself in roles in which I connect with people one-on-one and offer support and guidance any way I could. I've always been curious about others - wanting to understand who they are at their core and how/why they became who they are. This curiosity also extends to myself - how did my family, upbringing, and life experiences impact me and shape who I am today? While I know the answers to these questions now, I believe that my understanding of myself will evolve and change throughout my life.

My curiosity about the human experience, including my own, is what led me to pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am passionate about helping people gain awareness, understanding, and insight into themselves so they can use this knowledge to live intentional and fulfilling lives.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Chapman University and went on to earn a Masters of Science degree in Counseling, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from California State University, Long Beach.
